I graduated from St. Elizabeth College of Nursing in Utica in 2007. I then worked at St. Elizabeth Medical Center on the Orthopedic/Pediatric/Neurology Unit as well as the Pediatric Ambulatory Surgery Unit for 4 years, and then at Upstate University Hospital in Syracuse in the Pediatric Emergency Department for 3 months. After that I spent 2 1/2 years as a stay at home mom. In 2014 I got back into the work force, working part-time for Visiting Nurse Association and substituting as needed for the South Lewis School District. I became a long term sub in October 2014 to February 2015 for Toni Gigliotti, the Glenfield Elementary School Nurse at the time. While substituting, I got to know and love the amazing students and faculty at Glenfield, so when Toni announced her retirement in 2015, I jumped at the opportunity! I feel very fortunate to have gotten the position as the Glenfield Elementary School Nurse!

As a mother of 4, and having my own children in school, I know how important it is for parents to have peace of mind that their children are in good hands. After substituting at the Port Leyden, Glenfield, and Middle/High Schools, I believe the students in the South Lewis School District are in very good hands! The incredible staff really do have the best interest of the students at heart, as do I. I have always enjoyed working with children and I am very grateful to be able to work with the students at Glenfield Elementary! I look forward to assisting parents and teachers achieve optimal learning potential from their students through health and wellness and good attendance!
