    1)  Q How do I access the Glenfield Elementary School Calendar?

    Click on the red "Calendar" on the left to access our school calendar. There you will find 2011-2012 important events for the year.

    (Do not click on "South Lewis Calendars" to access Glenfield information. Those are old calendars and Glenfield posts only on the new calendar.)

    If you still cannot access the calendar, call the school at 315-348-2620 and we will help you navigate or answer any questions!
    2)  Q What can I do during the summer to help my child be ready for school in September?

    Have your child read over the summer and write a bit about what he/she has read. If your child reads 5 books and writes about each book, he/she can enter the Superintendent's "Summer Reading Challenge"! (The Superintendent gives really good prizes to those who meet his Summer Reading Challenge!)

    Also, have your child practice math this summer! Counting objects, sorting by color, size and shape, measuring, telling time, counting money and practicing addition, subtraction and multiplication facts, all are good math concepts to reinforce this summer!
