South Lewis Elementary Schools – Kindergarten Orientation
If your child will be 5 years old on or before December 1, 2018 and will be attending Kindergarten in the fall, you and your child are invited to our Kindergarten Orientation evening on Wednesday, March 28th. New this year, we will be holding one evening for Kindergarten Orientation.
On Wednesday, March 28th, dinner will be provided at 5:00 p.m. (ziti, salad, dessert) at the South Lewis High School cafeteria. After dinner from 5:30-6:00 p.m., parents will meet school district personnel while children will work with kindergarten teachers at learning centers based on readiness activities. From 6:00-6:30 p.m., there will be “gym time” for the children to participate in physical activity while parents meet with Glenfield Elementary and Port Leyden Elementary teachers.
