Miss Fitzgerald
I am proud to say that I am a 1997 graduate of South Lewis Central School District. After high school I attended Houghton College in Western NY. I received my Bachelors of Science degree in Elementary Education in 2001. I then received my Masters of Science in Education in 2006 from SUNY Potsdam.
I was hired as a full time teacher here at South Lewis in 2008. I taught a total of 3 years in 4th grade and 1 year in 5th grade at Port Leyden Elementary before moving to the Middle School to teach 5th grade. I currently teach Math and Science.
Extra Curricular Activities: I am the director of the Middle School Musical, the director of the summer SUPER Stage program, the 5th grade advisor for Jr. Falcon Club, and the co-coordinator for both the 5th grade Washington DC and 8th grade New York City field trips.
