I'm originally from Lowville and graduated from Lowville Academy.  I earned a B.A. in Political Science from Holy Cross College in Worcester, MA, and an M.S.Ed. in TESOL and Literacy from the University of Pennsylvania.  After living and teaching in the Boston area for many years, I'm very glad to be back in Lewis County and delighted to be part of the South Lewis district.  As an English as a New Language teacher, I help students whose first language is not English to learn social and academic language.  I also assist other teachers in adapting their lessons and materials to help our ELLs (English Language Learners) be successful in their content area classes while they are in the process of gaining English proficiency.
